Infracorr Conference 2019

The tragedy that occurred with the collapse of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa brought attention to the state of our infrastructure, many of which are no longer performing. The pollution along with the increase in heavy goods vehicles for road transport have contributed to the deterioration of bridges and roads. It is sometimes difficult to assess the severity of corrosion of reinforced concrete irons, due to the carbonation process activated by atmospheric aggression, and which can cause structural failure.

The Infracorr Conference to be held in Milan on May 28, 2019 at Palazzo Turati, compares the design features and the choices of materials with the new technological solutions available, to create solid, durable and durable structures.
