ANTI-CORROSIVE PAINTING OF ROAD BRIDGE AT SIENA NEAR RAILWAY STATION

CUSTOMER: ANAS SPA, a public industrial company that deals with the design of roads up to construction and subsequent ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.

NEEDS: the need of the company was to protect the road bridge near the Siena railway station from corrosion.

SOLUTION: the continuous passage of trains and vehicles, beyond the immediate proximity to the railway station and mall, set the condition for the roller application for most of the surface. For this reason, Colgom has indicated both a high solid primer and a polyurethane enamel for their speed drying. Surface preparation has been limited to a summary cleaning, as it is not possible to sandblast. Colgom has proposed a painting cycle with an epoxy-polyamide primer rich in surface tolerant zinc phosphate and an aliphatic acrylic enamel characterized by drying speed and resistance to UV rays.

DISTINCTIVE ELEMENTS: fast painting cycle in the execution and above all valid in classifiable environment C3, with expected durability HIGH.
